Hardware
Clue® Trader offers four solutions with optional Chip and PIN functionality:
- SkyBlue: The latest addition to our hardware solutions for mobile POS devices.
- SkyPad: A compact handheld unit.
- SkyPort: A trolley-based unit with a detachable handheld unit.
- SkyTablet: A versatile tablet
device with a large screen, which can be handheld or mounted on a trolley.
The Clue® Trader solution enables crew to:
- Upload inflight data and software to Clue® Trader sales units via GPRS, CF or PCMCIA card.
- Record opening flight data such as actual cabin crew, bar and seal details, and opening stock figures.
- Make sales transactions.
- Accept multiple payment methods, e.g. Chip and PIN and swipe credit / debit cards, cash in multiple currencies, travellers cheques, vouchers and crew discounts. (A passenger can pay for a sales transaction using any combination of payment methods).
- Make a cash sale and print a receipt in under 10 seconds.
- Use automatic promotions.
- Close the flight and run payment summaries and customs reports, e.g. C209 and C45.
Clue® Trader hardware can be extended to include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®, thereby enabling wireless networking within the aircraft and wireless data transfer between stationary aircraft and your back office system.
Subsequently, the inflight data can be inbound into GroundTrader or your existing back office system. Clue® Trader supports single and multiple bar systems.
